Description:

The sports complex of Blocry NPO, vast sports facilities, is located on the university campus of Louvain-la-Neuve.
From the beginning, the sports complex of Blocry has showed its interest for art. A painting by Jean-Pierre Maury, representing the muscle at rest and during exercise, decorates its biggest hall. The "Rêverie d'eau" statue by Gigi Warny decorates the swimming pools entry.
On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, in 1997, the sports complex of Blocry opened in its corridors a permanent museum of sport and comic strip.
Thanks to more than 40 works in showcases, reproductions and frescos decorating the corridors, the sports complex has become a real living place.
